Staci Steidley, Studio Steidley
This master bedroom is proof that going bold is the right move. The owner wanted a feminine feel to this room and wanted it to be bright and airy, so the designer painted the walls an off-white, designed a combination of creamy white shades and drapes, and then centered the room around a custom-designed, blush, upholstered bed.
To balance the contrast of colors, a blush, gold and cream-colored oversized art piece was commissioned. The other notable piece of art in the room is a watercolor that the homeowner had found while at one of the Paris flea markets. It was painted in the early 1900s and still the colors are vivid and timeless. It might be that the brass and crystal chandelier fights for center stage in this room.
