The firm was founded by designer Dorian Bolick in 2004 as a way to communicate his vision of the ideal lifestyle: a clean, relaxed aesthetic rooted in casual contemporary living with charming traditional details throughout. Known for creating homes Coast to Coast that are engaging and comfortable, the firm is invested in delivering deeply personal spaces that satisfy the individual needs of each client.

As principal and founder of Red Door Living, Dorian, an award winning designer, acquired an appreciation for design at a young age. As a second generation Furniture Industry professional, his exposure to the word of Design started early.

A world traveler, Dorian brings all of his experiences to every project he does. A multi-product designer, having designed for domestic and international labels, his mastering of technical techniques and fabric design created the foundation for his personal approach and detail to interiors.

His interior design projects speak to his love for both traditional as well as new and innovative ideas while maintaining a clean, relaxed aesthetic rooted in elegant casual living. He believes that each Client is a crucial member of the design team and focuses on creating a welcoming environment in which to collaborate. His personal approach assures that each project reflects the individuality of the Client.
