A third generation iron and steel company owner, the client naturally desired a home that reflected his work – modern and functional with metal elements incorporated. Textural elements were added for warmth and visual interest. Dramatic features are highlighted all around, especially in the black, white and copper veining of the marble slabs on walls and countertops.

Low-profile leather barstools soften the space, and add function and beauty. The custom glass panel is certainly a defining feature and provides a lovely view from the study.
