Kate Thacker

My name is Kate Thacker, and I am a Dallas based interior designer dedicated to creating personalized spaces perfect for both families and individuals. I grew up overseas, and spent my childhood traveling around the globe, exploring Asia, Africa, and Europe. The chance to see and experience cultures around the world cultivated my love for patterns, color, and texture - all of which shine through in my design projects today. When I design spaces for my clients, I love to play with the unexpected. My designs exude warmth and creativity with modern flare. I have a thoughtful, hands-on approach to designing how we live, and am not afraid to get my hands dirty for a DIY project that I know will take my design to the next level. Since founding Kate Thacker Home in October 2019, I am thankful to say it has quickly grown and developed a positive reputation amongst locals. I thrive on fun and artistic styles, and I am never one to shy away from a challenge. My mission is to take my client’s wants and ideas and craft them into a unique, tailor-made space, to turn their house into a home. My service offerings include interior design/renovation consults and staging. I have also been humbled and honored to be awarded the Preservation Dallas Achievement Award since our launch in Fall of last year.
