Karen Ferreyra Interiors is a boutique interior design firm offering full service interior and exterior design, with a specialty in kitchens and baths, for both residential and commercial clients.

Services offered include; space planning, paint consults, specification and selection of finishes and furnishings, custom cabinetry and furniture, project management and designer-for-a-day options.  Projects range in size from freshening up a room to designing an entire home or commercial space.

With over twenty years of experience and a background in the remodeling industry, Karen is a "hands-on" designer and enjoys being involved during the construction phase of the project.  She attributes her passion for design fom growing up in a family-owned construction company, visiting job sites with her father and then seeing the transformation of the projects and the exuberance of the clients!

Karen's design philosopy is basic - Interiors should reflect the client's personality, needs and lifestyle.  From concept to completion, her goal is to create an environment that can evolve trhough the years.  She believes that the way a space feels is equally important as it's esthetics and that a well-designed space has the ability to create positive change in our lives.

Karen is a graduate of Hofstra University and Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design.  She is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and an Associate Member of IDS (Interior Design Society).  Her work as been featured in regional publications, including Remodeling Today and House Magazine.  She is a two-time IDS Designer Of The Year (DOTY) award recipient.
