Andrea Olsen

Andrea L. Olsen, CAPS, WFCP, CQRID is an award-winning interior design professional with over 35 years of industry experience. She founded FTC Interiors in 2004 after serving as lead designer and business development manager for a national design retailer. Since then, Andrea has served Northern Virginia area design clients one-on-one with consulting and selections for trendsetting residential style. A testament to her popularity in the DC design scene, Andrea and FTC Interiors was voted Best Interior Designer in 2012 and 2013 by Northern Virginia Magazine as well as ‘Best Decorator’ by I AM Modern Magazine.

She has partnered with a number of acclaimed build and construction firms to complete stunning full-scale renovations and over 100+ luxury kitchen and bath projects. A homage to her roots in the industry, Andrea has also maintained her specialty in custom window fashions to beautifully complete and adorn each unique space. Andrea graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science and Textiles and later, earned her Interior Design Certification from the Council of Qualified Residential Interior Designers. She is a certified Window Fashions Certified Professional as well as a Professional Member of the Interior Design Society, and the International Furnishings and Design Association. Andrea is also one of the few Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists, who assist in residential remodeling and home modifications.
