Ann Mirinelli
Interior Designer, Allied ASID, IDS, CAPS, NAIPC
Ann Marinelli’s multi-cultural experience includes more than 25 years in the design field as an Interior Architect and Space Planner, a Furniture and Industrial Designer, university professor and design journalist. She has served as a consultant and Design Manager for several international manufacturing companies and has lived in the USA and Europe, working with business clients all over the world.
Ann’s passion for finishes and colors lead her to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design and later a Masters certificate in Industrial Design and Design Management at the Domus Academy in Italy. She also holds a Masters in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
Working as a design journalist, Ann has reported on trends in the world of design while traveling through Europe, the Far East and the USA. She has lived and worked in Milan, Italy for more than 25 years, holds dual US and Italian citizenships and is fluent in Italian.
Ann has recently been named a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). In the new role, Del Pero will combine her extensive international interior design experience with her CAPS training to help her clients modify their homes and changing lifestyles for aging in place.
